Location: The Sanctuary -8960 Colonial Center Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33905Department: Radiology - UltrasoundWork Type: Full TimeShift: Shift 1/8:00:00AM to 5:00:00PMMinimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$28.94 - $37.62 / hourSummary"Performs all diagnostic ultrasound procedures fixed and mobile according to the policy and procedures that are provided by the department. A level III Sonographer must be registered in abdomen, OB, GYN, and either neurosonology or musculoskeletal sonography. Currently practicing three (3) modalities. Assists the radiologist with designated diagnostic exams. Interacts with medical staff and other outside entities regarding ultrasound matters. Assists the radiologist in guided needle biopsies, paracentesis, thoracentesis, needle biopsies, needle localization, and operating room cryoablations. General computer skills as needed. May transport non-narcotic medications as directed. Works positively with all customers to promote patient, employee, and physician satisfaction. Participates in performance improvement initiatives. Participations in staff/student orientation training.
