Diversity and inclusion are the only paths that allows forward progress and our success as a company stems from that philosophy.About The RoleThe Garage Concierge main objective is to ensure residents and vendors can operate within the garage and its various spaces in a safe and efficient manner, while providing excellent hands-on customer service experience.What You'll DoOperates, parks and retrieves vehicles of residents and guestsEnsures visitor parking spaces are being utilized appropriatelyOperates elevator for residents and guests entering and leaving the buildingAssists residents/guests with packages, groceries, and other articles as requiredChecks in/out vendors and provides instructions and guidelines for their operationMaintains waste receptacles, including breakdown of boxes and transporting bins between designated areasMonitors security cameras and resolves and/or reports issues as needed. Accomplishes tasks outlined on the garage attendant list on a continuing basisRequirementsMust possess current US driver's licenseExperience working as Concierge/Front desk at Hotel/Residential settings. Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills are requiredEffective written and verbal communicator. Multiple language fluency is desirableAble to operate a computer and be proficient in working knowledge of MS Office Programs (Office, Word, Excel) and e-mailAble to operate standard office equipment, including fax machine, copier, telephone, etcAble to be flexible and adapt to changing environments, make decisions in stressful situations and prioritize and reprioritize tasks and projectsHighly motivated and able to work independentlyPerforms other duties and responsibilities consistent with the position as assigned by the General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or Lead ConciergePHYSICAL DEMANDSPhysical demands include the ability to lift 30-50lbsAbility to actively stand, walk, lift, and carry for extended periods of timeAbility to work at a personal computer, as well as talking on the phone, for extended periods of timeAbility to navigate the building quickly and easily as required to meet job functionsAbility to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms and respond quickly and appropriatelyAbility to work extended/flexible hours, weekends, and holidays if required by coverage necessary for the building,Ability to respond to emergencies promptlyCommunicate, receive, and exchange ideas and information using both spoken and written wordThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
