This isn’t just a job, it’s a chance to drive meaningful change and help define the future of our communities.In the role of Health Planner II, we'll count on you to:Provide planning, design and coordination support on projectsEngage in problem solving, teamwork, critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and visualization to create accurate and detailed drawingsPrepare drawings and specification documentsResearch, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materialsUnderstanding of healthcare trends. Assist the lead Health Planner in the preparation of presentation drawings, diagrams and narratives. Assist the coordination of all disciplines related to the building design and health planning.Research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materialsPerform other duties as neededPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in ArchitectureStrong computer skills (AutoCAD, REVIT, Rhino, MS Office, Blue Beam)Architectural registrationA minimum of 5 years of experience within the healthcare architecture field, with 3 years exclusively as a health plannerAdvanced credentials desired (e.g. ACHA, LEED, EDAC, etc.)Must be willing to travelPreference given to local candidatesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field A minimum of 3 years experience in A/E industry Strong organizational skills Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings and models Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and flexible Knowledge of materials, methods and tools involved in the construction of buildings An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must What We BelieveHDR is our company.
