*Job Details:* *Position: Oracle Developer* *Location: Tallahassee, FL, 32399* *Duration: 10+ Months Contract* *Min Experience required:- 7 years* *Mandatory/Preferred skills:- Oracle, Oracle Forms, SQL performance tuning, PHP and/or Classic ASP 3.0, code repositories, continuous integration tools.* *Education* This position will report to the Enterprise Application Services section within the Department. *Skills Matrix:* 7+ years’ experience developing and maintaining Oracle databases. (This includes the capability to write complex queries and develop complex PL/SQL database objects, including both DML and DDL.) 5+ years’ experience developing Oracle Forms 3+ years’ experience with database and/or SQL performance tuning 3+ years’ experience performing in the capacity as a full-stack developer Experience developing application reporting, preferably with PHP and/or Classic ASP 3.0 Experience using code repositories Experience using continuous integration tools Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and business resources and translate business needs into effective technical specifications Ability to conduct research into application development issues and products. Ability to understand the needs of multiple stakeholders. Ability to prepare reports, correspondence, guidelines, and Power Point presentations. Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, oral and written communication skills. Ability to write technical, business, and plain language documents and/or emails with great attention to detail in all written communications. Ability to work on multiple projects as a project team member, occasionally as a project leader.
