Behavioral Health Professional
Job Summary: The Behavioral Health Professional is responsible for providing comprehensive mental health services to individuals and groups. This role involves assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and the implementation of therapeutic interventions to support clients in achieving their mental health goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine client needs and treatment options.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client assessments.
Provide individual, group, and family therapy in accordance with best practices.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulations.
Educate clients and families about mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources.
Facilitate crisis intervention and support as needed.
Stay current with advancements in behavioral health practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Adhere to ethical guidelines and confidentiality standards in all client interactions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (required); Master’s degree preferred.
Valid state licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT) or certification in a relevant field.
Previous experience in a behavioral health setting preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Knowledge of community resources and referral processes.
Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $51.80 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Evening shift
Rotating weekends
