Regional Project Manager

We are seeking a Regional Project Manager (RPM) to join our sales team at CPI, with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in selling engineered electromechanical and sensor solutions to OEMs; our target industries include military, aerospace, mobile industrial and energy. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team for an individual who is motivated to find the “right” opportunities, comfortable working with all departments to generate solutions for identified opportunities. The right opportunities are where our unique product capabilities address challenging OEM application requirements. We apply a consultative approach to understanding customer challenges / technical requirements and providing a level of responsiveness which exceeds their expectations.Responsibilities:· Customer Acquisition & Retention: Establish target accounts, successfully acquire new customers while maintaining a high retention rate with existing clients.· Gain an understanding of customers' business and needs as they pertain to our products. Clearly communicate the features and benefits of our products to all customers and prospective customers.· Understand the technical and qulaity aspects .· Periodically visit with key customers and target accounts.· Build lasting relationships with customers by understanding and addressing their technical challenges effectively.· Fully understand supplier rating systems imposed by customers and work to optimize our scores.· Must work well with others, and have the ability to manage multiple deadlines.Qualifications:A Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred. Minimum 3 years work experience in B2B Selling required. Experience working with Electrical/Electronic Component OEMs and subcontractors a plus. Familiarity with product specifications, applications, and industry standards in electromechanical components, and the ability to understand, interpret, and convey technical requirements, technical drawings, CAD files, and specifications are expected; proven success in a sales role, particularly in consultative, solution-based sales.Target Market Expertise: Understanding of key markets for electromechanical components and sensors (e.g., aerospace, industrial, military, commercial mobile).CRM Proficiency: Experience with CRM software, data analysis, and account management.We are a small, very profitable division of a UK-based company, challenged with generating long-term growth.
