The Department is currently finalizing a significant transformation of the legacy on-premises EDW to a modern, cloud-based architecture in AWS enabling scalable, secure, and real-time data access across the enterprise.The Department Head will provide strategic, operational, and technical leadership to ensure delivery of a resilient, future-ready enterprise data platform aligned to Finance and enterprise priorities.Roles & Responsibilities:The Department Head, Data & Integrations, is a senior manager responsible for strategic direction, organizational leadership, and end-to-end ownership of enterprise data platforms and integration services.The selected candidate will:Lead the overall strategy, roadmap, and execution of the Enterprise Data Warehouse and enterprise data integration platformsProvide leadership and oversight to Group Leaders and technical teams within the departmentBuild, develop, and sustain high-performing engineering and architecture teamsOversee multiple concurrent data programs and workstreams, ensuring alignment to enterprise prioritiesDrive modernization of legacy on-prem data platforms to cloud-based architecturesEnsure operational excellence of mission-critical EDW environments, balancing reliability with innovationServe as a trusted advisor to Finance and enterprise leadership on data architecture and platform strategyPartner closely with other department heads to deliver integrated, enterprise-wide solutionsLead PI planning, delivery execution, and cross-team dependency managementEstablish governance, security, and data quality standards across the data ecosystemOversee vendor selection, tooling strategy, and architectural decision-makingManage budget, staffing, and long-term workforce planning for the departmentKey dimensional modeling, data marts, and analytical data product developmentEstablish scalable, secure, and governed data platformsCloud & Platform EngineeringLead AWS-based data platform strategy and implementation (Lake Formation, Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, IAM)Guide modernization efforts leveraging cloud-native servicesOversee DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized workloadsEnsure implementation of enterprise-grade data governance, security, and privacy controlsEvaluate and integrate Azure or Databricks capabilities where appropriateOperational Excellence & ReliabilityEnsure high availability and reliability of mission-critical EDW operationsImprove system reliability, data quality, and SLA performanceOversee production monitoring, incident management, and root cause analysis processesBalance platform stability with innovation and modernization effortsStakeholder & Business PartnershipServe as primary executive liaison for enterprise data tooling, and vendor decisionsDrive innovation while ensuring enterprise alignment and complianceBasic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Business, or related discipline12+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, and enterprise data platforms5+ years of experience leading large-scale data programs and cross-functional delivery teamsDemonstrated experience leading geographically distributed technical teamsDeep expertise in enterprise data warehousing, data integration, and modern data architecturesStrong experience with AWS-based data platforms (Lake Formation, Redshift, S3, Glue, EMR, Lambda, IAM)Demonstrated success managing mission-critical EDW operationsProven ability to improve system reliability, data quality, and operational performanceStrong executive communication and stakeholder management skillsExperience defining and executing cloud migration and modernization strategiesDemonstrated ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutionsThis position requires a minimum of 60% hybrid on-sitePreferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in a related disciplinePrior experience leading enterprise data warehouse modernization initiativesExperience with Azure and Databricks environmentsExperience with Workday HCM, Deltek Costpoint, OneStream, or equivalent enterprise systemsExperience implementing enterprise data governance frameworksKnowledge of containerized workloads and CI/CD pipelinesExperience managing vendor relationships and
