Worker TypeRegularJob DescriptionSummaryThe Test Equipment Engineer I designs, develops and implements cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development and manufacturing. In this role, one supports the integration and testing of unmanned aircraft systems and payloads.Position ResponsibilitiesAssists in the design, development, deployment, troubleshooting and upgrading of test equipment used in testing PCBAs, sub-systems, and systems during productionThis position requires C# / OOP software development using Visual Studio IDEAssists in development software programs in C#. LabVIEW capability preferredCollaborate with team and assist in developing test plans, requirements/specifications and strategiesAnalyzes, processes, and formats test results, following standard practices and proceduresDrives for results & consistently meets deliverables on projects with aggressive timelinesWorks with diverse teams across multiple disciplinesProvides timely feedback to the product design team to improve the testability of designDevelop a variety of power conversion devices, motor control systems and avionics from early stages of design through final testing and manufacturing supportExecute functional, performance and environmental tests on avionics power & propulsion componentsLearns to use professional concepts and applies company policies & procedures to resolve routine issuesWorks on problems of limited scope, receiving detailed instructions on all work.
