Project Manager Job Description
The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, procurement, execution, and completion of custom residential cabinetry projects and other interior architectural features.
At Vonmod, the role of a project manager extends beyond traditional management tasks. They play a crucial role in translating ideas into reality by utilizing advanced digital tools. With expertise in digital modeling and drafting, project managers act as skilled technicians responsible for creating shop drawings, 3D visualizations, and manufacturing models. We use Cabinet Vision and Rhino 3D as our primary modeling tools along with a wide range of web tools to communicate and manage. While direct experience with Cabinet Vision or Rhino 3D is not mandatory, we do require candidates to possess 3-5 years of experience in some form of digital modeling. Having the ability to quickly adapt and learn new digital modeling software is also essential for this position.
In addition to digital modeling expertise, an intimate knowledge of our production and installation process is a crucial requirement for the Project Manager role. This typically entails spending a minimum of six months working in production and installation at Vonmod, allowing you to gain a comprehensive understanding of our system and effectively manage the process. We believe that this hands-on experience will enable you to successfully oversee projects from start to finish by leveraging your knowledge of both digital modeling and our specific production processes.
