Our London showroom is a destination for architects, interior designers, trade professionals, and discerning homeowners. We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to drive sales, build client relationships, and elevate the showroom experience.About the RoleThe Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle - from showroom engagement and lead generation to closing and account management. This role combines relationship-driven sales with proactive business development, focusing on building long-term partnerships with contractors, interior designers, architects, and commercial clients.The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and results-oriented, with the ability to manage a high volume of inquiries while actively developing new business opportunities. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, in-person presentation confidence, disciplined CRM management, and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.ResponsibilitiesThe Sales Representative will be responsible for a full range of sales activities, including:Showroom Engagement: Be present and manage the showroom for incoming customers and guestsCustomer Relationship Management: Proactively engage and manage relationships with a base of repeat customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction to surprise and delight them and secure long-term loyalty.Business Development: Actively seek out and develop new trade customers (e.g., contractors, designers, architects) and commercial opportunities to expand our market reach.In-Person Sales: Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with potential commercial customers to present our product line and negotiate sales.Quoting and Documentation: Accurately prepare and deliver detailed product quotes and proposals for customers.Follow-up on Quotes: Regularly and accurately follow up on quotes that they have sent. Retention + VIP Marketing: This person should seek out opportunities to get repeat customers from trade customers or construction-related companies, which can include gifting, special email flowsCommunication & Support: Manage a high volume of customer inquiries by answering emails promptly and professionally, providing product information and support.Sales Administration: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities in the CRM system, manage sales pipelines, and report on progress toward targets.Market Insight: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor activities to effectively position ottotiles' offerings.Goal Achievement: Meet and exceed assigned sales quotas and performance metrics.QualificationsProven experience in a sales or customer success or service role, preferably within the tile industry, interior design, or related industry.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and engaging phone and email demeanor.Excellent negotiation and presentation skills for in-person customer meetings.Demonstrated ability to manage a full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing.Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently to manage a territory.Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace applications.Willingness to travel to meet clients. Salary starting at 75k + sales commission on sales.
