Alpine Grove has server shift openings for weekends, occasional weeknights, and weekdays. We are looking for an energetic and dedicated Banquet Server to join our staff. Your responsibilities will include distributing food to guests at special events. Dishes may include passed appetizers where you walk the floor throughout the night, or you may bring various courses to tables at a more formal meal event. Candidates must have a friendly and professional demeanor, work well on a team, and be comfortable on their feet for several hours at a time.Banquet Server Duties and ResponsibilitiesSet up tables and banquet hall before the eventAssist with food preparation before and during the eventServe appetizers and plated dinners to guestsDeliver food from the kitchen to the banquet hall on timeServe non-alcoholic beveragesGeneral cleaning/sideworkAssist with post-event clean-up, inventory, food storage, and tear downBanquet Server Requirements and QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent preferredAt least 18 years oldMust be available to work weekendsPrevious banquet server/cater waiter experience a plusExcellent customer service skillsMust be able to stand and walk for several hours at a time and lift up to 30 poundsReliable transportationWage based on experience and availability.
