Associate Attorney

The San Antonio office of Thompson Coe, LLP seeks an attorney with 2 to 10 years' experience in civil litigation to join the Insurance Litigation section of the firm. Candidates should have a working knowledge of state and federal civil procedure, excellent advocacy and writing skills, and be open to travel within Texas. Litigation experience, including taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and attending mediations is strongly preferred. Valid Texas BAR license required.The associate in this position will work on a variety of First Party cases, including under insured and uninsured motorist, bad faith, breach of contract and property damage. The associate will handle the day-to-day aspects of this work, including client meetings, reporting and investigation, and taking and attending depositions, hearings, mediations and arbitrations and/or trials.
