Assembler ILadson, SCMonday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PMPay: $20.00 per hour26-04761Job SummaryThe Assembler supports daily plant operations by performing product assembly tasks, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring production targets are met or exceeded. This role involves building product components using hand and power tools, identifying and resolving assembly or testing issues, and collaborating with engineering, quality, and production teams to support continuous improvement. The position also includes providing informal leadership support to peers, contributing to lean initiatives, and maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency in all work activities.Job ResponsibilitiesPerform product assemblies accurately and efficiently according to standard work instructions.Use hand and power tools to assemble units in accordance with product specifications.Inspect completed work and identify units that fail testing or tolerance standards; repair or rework as needed.Move completed components or assemblies to designated areas within production flow.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.Support team members to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality output.Communicate production issues clearly and professionally to leadership.Participate in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.Follow all safety and quality management policies, procedures, and requirements.Support overtime and changing business needs as required.Assist with additional production duties as assigned.Job RequirementsHigh school diploma or local equivalent required.Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized work instructions.Ability to identify defects and perform basic repairs or rework.Good communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a production environment.Willingness to participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing activities.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.Commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards at all times.Work ExperiencePrior experience in manufacturing, production assembly, or similar environment preferred.Experience working in lean manufacturing environments preferred.EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
