We are a boutique real estate firm involved in brokerage, development, property management, investments, and hospitality-related operations. Our portfolio includes 50+ properties across multiple LLCs and business entities, ranging from long-term holdings and short-term rentals to active development projects and operating businesses.We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Office Controller to oversee the financial and administrative operations of the company. This person will serve as the financial backbone of the organization and work closely with ownership to ensure all entities, properties, vendors, and reporting systems operate efficiently and accurately.This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment and can balance bookkeeping, accounting, operations, and office management responsibilities.Responsibilities:Accounting & Financial ManagementManage day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple LLCs and business entitiesMaintain accurate general ledgers and financial recordsHandle accounts payable and accounts receivablePerform monthly bank and credit card reconciliationsPrepare monthly financial reporting packages for ownershipCoordinate intercompany transfers and entity allocationsMonitor cash flow across multiple operating accounts and propertiesManage payroll processing and payroll-related reportingTrack loans, mortgages, insurance policies, and recurring obligationsAssist ownership with budgeting, forecasting, and project cost trackingCoordinate with outside CPA firms for tax preparation and year-end reportingMaintain organized digital financial records and documentationReal Estate & Property OperationsTrack rent collections, owner distributions, and property-level expensesMonitor utilities, vendor contracts, maintenance invoices, and recurring servicesAssist with insurance renewals, licensing, permits, and compliance mattersSupport acquisition, development, and renovation projects with financial organization and reportingMaintain entity records, operating agreements, and business registrationsHelp implement and improve operational systems and processesAdministrative & Office OperationsOversee office administrative functions and organizationManage vendor relationships and payment schedulesAssist with HR administration and onboarding supportCoordinate with brokers, attorneys, contractors, lenders, and property managersSupport ownership with special projects and operational initiativesHelp improve internal workflows and reporting systems as the company growsQualifications5+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, controller, or finance experienceReal estate, property management, construction, or hospitality experience strongly preferredStrong understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting fundamentalsExperience managing multiple entities and bank accounts preferredProficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel/Google SheetsHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to prioritize and manage multiple moving parts simultaneouslyStrong communication and problem-solving skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environmentSelf-starter with a high level of ownership and accountabilityPreferred ExperienceQuickBooks OnlineProperty management software experience (we use Buildium)Real estate investment or development accountingPayroll systems and vendor managementFamiliarity with short-term rental operationsCompensationCompetitive salary based on experienceBonus opportunities based on performanceFlexible and entrepreneurial work environmentOpportunity to grow alongside a rapidly expanding real estate platformAbout UsWe are modern boutique real estate platform focused on unique properties, hospitality-driven experiences, and long-term value creation.
