The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the completeness and correctness of all orders picked.HOURSThe standard work hours for 1st shift are Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. The standard work hours for 3rd shift are Sunday through Thursday, 9:00pm to 6:30am. Additional overtime may be necessary, including additional hours or days.JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESEfficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the style, size and quantity of product is accurate.Assemble various types of merchandise for shipment.Carry or transport orders to shipping locations with material handling equipment.Meet company performance standards for productivity.On a daily basis, inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment.Conduct physical inventories as required.Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area.Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety.Comply with OSHA Standards.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma/GEDWorking knowledge in MS Word, Excel or similar computer software systems.Ability to accurately complete arithmetic computations to sufficiently perform duties of the job.QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREDAttendance at work and punctuality is essentialAbility to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to communicate effectivelyThe ability to follow directions is extremely importantRequired frequently: sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time as well as, kneeling, squatting, bending and reachingAbility to read and interpret documentsMust be able to count accurately, do simple math, and write legiblyCOMPENSATIONStarting at $18.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off accrual, and 401(k) matching after one year of employment.HexArmor is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
