The Supervisor has good knowledge in the field of deep foundation installation and shoring projects and is developing the skill and experience required to lead much larger projects and beginning to cultivate effective interpersonal leadership skills.Benefits Comprehensive Health and Dental plan 401K Matching Employee Referral Program Professional Development Allowance Career advancement opportunities Employee discounts at participating vendors#applytodayJob DutiesLead all site construction functions including quality and safetyResponsible for the safe work planning for all tasks being executed on a projectComplete site inspections on a regular basis to ensure a hazard free workplaceEnsure emergency response plans are in placeEnsure compliance to all construction specifications and proceduresResponsible for solving problems as they arise with client partners construction teamEnsure company safety policies and procedure are practiced through mentorship and enforced through disciplinary process if requiredUnderstand and continually review company policies and procedures to ensure effectivenessEnsure equipment assigned to projects under your authority is kept in good repairCreate 10–15-day lookahead manpower and equipment forecastCultivate positive and collaborative working relationships with employees, managers, clients, and vendorsProvide employee performance feedback to applicable managers to ensure continual improvement through training and performance evaluationsEnsure client and regulatory quality standards are met or exceed expectationsPrepare commercial documents including field tickets; assist with change management quantity identificationProvides guidance to trades staff and is responsible for the smooth functioning of day-to-day operations by developing and monitoring performance against the agreed upon project plans and schedule and the delegates work to trades people.Provide training and guidance in the field on DFI Policies and SOP’sDispatch coverage in branch when needed and not on a projectTravel between Houston, TX and Williston, NDQualificationsKnowledge of DFI field operations including pile installation, drilling and welding1+ years of experience in a General Foreman position, overseeing piling projects with at least two disciplines and up to 6 workersDeveloping understanding of welding and survey procedures and techniquesDeveloping understanding of engineering terminology and able to interpret piling construction drawings and notes fluentlyPlan and oversee execution of pile testing techniques and procedures Ambitious and self-driven with the ability to promote a collaborative environmentStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsIdentify and resolves issues effectively – communicating and solving the problems in a practical and healthy manner.Passionate about improving their knowledge, skills, mindset, and outlook, each day.Experienced in forecasting lookaheads for projects 10-15 days in advanceTime management skills and ability to prioritize projects, as necessary.Good written and verbal communication skillsCompetent use of Microsoft ExcelExperience using MS Office and a variety of online management toolsAPPLY ONLINE RETURN TO OPPORTUNITIES
