Director of Finance
Director of FinanceDescription:As a member of Camp Nebagamon’s full time leadership team, the Director of Finance will support camp’s mission by nurturing the financial health and stability of the organization. The Director of Finance will maintain accurate financial records, engage in financial planning, and oversee camp’s budget while maintaining camp’s bank accounts and holding significant tax responsibilities. In collaboration with the Director, this role will prepare financial reports to present to the Board of Directors. At this critical point in Nebagamon’s history this position will play an integral role in maintaining camp’s traditions and values while guiding camp into the future. Responsibilities:Oversee bank accounts and management of balances, monthly reconciliationsOversee all finances including budgeting, strategic financial planning, forecasting, internal controls, auditing, state charity registrations, and 990 prepResponsible for management of all tax burdens, property tax, sales tax, annual state filings, tax notices, etc.Manage year round and summertime payrollRequirementsBachelor’s DegreeAccounting and finance background, knowledge, or experienceA belief in and passion for residential campingA willingness to support the camp community regardless of job descriptionPreferred QualificationsAbility and experience in organizing and manipulating dataEager to learn and ask questionsDetail OrientedFlexibleObservantTeam playerOrganizedExcellent writing skillsSalary: This position has an annual salary range of $45,000-$80,000 commensurate with experience and is subject to applicable taxes and voluntary deductions.Benefits: Camp Nebagamon offers the following benefits to full-time employees.Health insurance: 100% coverage for a full-time employee, and 70% coverage for spouses and dependants401(k): Camp will contribute to up to 3% of your salary annually to your retirement account.Vacation: Full-time employees have two weeks of paid vacation plus a week in December and some federal holidays.
