JOB DESCRIPTIONStrong Events is a decor & custom fabrication shop for special events in the heart of Austin, Texas. We plan anywhere between 300-350 events per year. As an Internal Project Manager for Strong Events, you will work directly with our account managers and managers of each department to ensure that each job's custom builds and prints are completed on time for our clients’ event needs. Your expertise is founded in working with all types of people, problem solving and effective and clear communication and a drive to complete tasks ON-TIME and UNDER/ON BUDGET. We sincerely appreciate everyone's time and energy for reading this far.LOCATION800 Interchange Blvd, Suite 108Austin, TX 78721 100% In- Person; currently NO relocation packageFluency in Spanish a nice-to-have but not a requirementMAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESto help facilitate conversations between our Account Managers with Fabrication, Signs & Art Team and repeat.Learning the industry; you will need to learn what we sell/rent so that you can understand how all the pieces fit together.Build relationships with our supplier partners so that we are using our budgets effectivelyTranslating information from the Account Managers that may come in digitally and communicate effectively with the manager in each department in person. It will be this role’s main duty to make sure that all custom builds and prints are completed on time for each event. Goal- to have it all done 2 days ahead of load in. Efficient and clear communication is key with ALL parties and with the leadership teamComfortable updating digital documents and communicating effectively both internally and externally Ability to complete tasks independently MINOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIESAssisting with organizing the warehouse.Quick on Google Suite & any new software introduced to the company.Ability to connect communication from department to department. Keeping a positive attitude with our team and clientsAssisting with any additional tasks as needed. SR INTERNAL PROJECT MANAGER QUALIFICATIONS Ability to juggle 8+ concurrent projects in a given week and not lose sight of how to prioritize deadlines to best meet our clients and our internal team needsAbility to communicate effectively with leadership on how to scale this new department and roleAbility to spot inefficiencies and make recommendations on how to improve the company’s overall public reputation and output for clients’ needsBeing able to jump between high-level decisions and the most minute details that clients often get fixated onBENEFITS FOR FT EMPLOYEESFlexible Paid time off: Unlimited after 1 month with blackout dates.
