We are looking for a Jr. DevOps Engineer to join our team! The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a strong background in IT and DevOps engineering. You will be responsible for developing and managing the IT infrastructure, automating processes, and managing deployments.
Responsibilities:
Design and maintain the IT infrastructure that supports the development and deployment of applications.
Monitor and maintain the performance of the IT infrastructure in a cost-effective manner.
Automate processes to reduce manual effort.
Leverage DevOps tools to optimize the development and deployment of applications.
Develop deployment pipelines and processes to ensure smooth and efficient deployments.
Monitor the performance of applications and services post-deployment.
Identify and troubleshoot problems related to the IT infrastructure.
Collaborate with other teams to ensure the successful deployment of applications.
Develop and maintain best practices for deploying applications.
Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies related to DevOps engineering.
A passion to own your work and collaborate with the development team providing solutions to optimize the FLOW of the development life cycle
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or experience in a related field.
2+ years of experience in DevOps or Systems engineering.
Proficient knowledge of DevOps tools and concepts such as GitOps, CI/CD, Jenkins, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or similar.
Proficiency using Linux based operating systems
Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Python and Bash.
Experience in site reliability practices such as monitoring and logging.
Experience with cloud computing platforms, such as Azure and AWS.
Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with compliance frameworks, specifically HIPPA/HiTrust, is a plus
Cloud or DevOps Certifications are a plus
