Web Developer - Remote

WE ARE HIRING!We are seeking a talented Full-Time Web Developer to manage, optimize, and develop new features for our website. This role requires a collaborative approach, working closely with the SEO specialist and marketing team to ensure our site performs optimally, remains aligned with SEO best practices, and contributes to business goals.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Website Management:⦁ Develop, maintain, and update the company website using WordPress and Elementor.⦁ Implement design changes, including custom landing pages and conversion-optimized layouts.⦁ Ensure website speed, mobile responsiveness, and a seamless user experience.⦁ Regularly update WordPress themes, plugins, and the core platform.SEO & Technical Optimization:⦁ Collaborate on SEO strategies, including optimizing on-page content and metadata.⦁ Implement technical improvements, such as image optimization, caching, and resolving performance issues.⦁ Fix technical SEO issues like broken links, crawl errors, and mobile optimization.Design & User Experience:⦁ Ensure cohesive branding and an intuitive user interface (UI).⦁ Conduct A/B testing for conversion rate improvements.⦁ Enhance navigation and overall website functionality for better user engagement.Security & Maintenance:⦁ Monitor website security, troubleshoot vulnerabilities, and fix issues proactively.⦁ Perform regular backups and implement website recovery processes.⦁ Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems as they arise.Content Management & Development:⦁ Manage and optimize website content for SEO and brand consistency.⦁ Develop custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when necessary to enhance features.⦁ Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure content aligns with campaign goals.Experience & Skills Required:⦁ Proven experience in building and managing WordPress sites with Elementor.⦁ Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.⦁ Solid understanding of SEO and technical SEO best practices.⦁ Experience with PHP and WordPress theme/plugin development.⦁ Knowledge of website security measures and GDPR compliance.⦁ Familiarity with hosting environments, server management, and site backups.⦁ Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.Preferred Experience:⦁ Experience with database management, version control (Git), and server configurations.⦁ Understanding of UI/UX design principles and web accessibility standards.Available Schedule:⦁ Monday to Friday from 09:00 am to 5:30 pm ESTThe Language Doctors, Inc. is an equal-opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
