To ensure the growth and development of our new hires, this position is eligible for a 90 Day Evaluation that includes a pay increase if key performance indicators are met.Scope:The Receiver will unload trucks and receive shipments, verifying product and materials information against bills of lading. Based on the shipment documentation and arrival condition, the Receiver will determine whether to accept or reject freight. Inventory updates are entered into an electronic inventory management system on a timely basis. Upon acceptance of goods, the Receiver will transition stock to the correct storage location or to the production floor using motorized or manual equipment. Duties and Responsibilities:Unload trucks and incoming shipments using a hand truck, pallet jack, and/or forkliftCarefully inspect all freight for damage and reject shipments that do not meet conditional specificationsMaintain proper storage for production, including rotating stock and completing cycle countsPull and issue stock to production departments, prioritizing for quick-turn production and remakesUsing a computer, enter shipment and stock data into the inventory management systemMaintain a clean and orderly receiving and inventory control areaAble to use basic hand tools such as utility knives, screwdrivers, band cutters, and hammersFollow all safety training and procedures as directed by the Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), chemical handling, and hazardous wasteResponsible for immediately reporting all accidents, near misses, and safety concernsNote: The statements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees, and are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of personnel. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado.
