SummaryThe On-Call Set-up and Tear-down crew is directed by the Maintenance Department. This job opening is to perform at the Annual Meeting event on June 6, 2026. Set-up/Tear-Down Crews are to assists in the performance of any and all duties necessary to keep the facility in full operation and may perform other duties as assigned. These individuals will assist with setting up equipment and supplies for the event two days prior and tearing down/dismantling equipment and remaining supplies after the event has concluded. Workers will be working mid-day Wednesday thru Saturday evening and then half day Monday if needed.The pay rate for this position is $20.00/hour.Please Note: This position is open to Ahtna Shareholders only.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMove materials and items from/to storage areasSorting and placing materials or items as directedSet up/tear down tables, chairs, electrical cords .load/unload of materials such as supplies, tables, chairs, mealsAssist in keeping job site tidy, organized and safeSweeping, dusting, mopping, taking out trash or other similar workMust be able to work over time if neededRestocking supplies during meetingAssisting elders into/from buildingOther duties as assignedMaking of coffee and teaInventory countComply with company safety policy at all timesWearing proper safety equipment when isSupervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneMinimum QualificationsAge Requirement 18+Ahtna Shareholder or Descendant and/or SpousePreferred QualificationsExperience and knowledge of Alaska Native culturesDriver's LicenseShareholder PreferencePursuant to PL 93-638, as amended, preference will be given to qualified Ahtna Native Corporation Shareholders, Descendants, and Spouses in all phases of employment.Physical DemandsMust be able to perform bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for up to 8 hours; occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds unassisted.Work EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described in this job description are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this job.
