Title: MI Developer for Northrop Grumman SSA ITSSC Team - Baltimore , MD, United StatesCompany: Northrop Grumman SSA ITSSC TeamPay Rate: $70 per hr on c2cGC/USC# of Openings: 1Position Type: Right to HireLocation: Baltimore , MD, United StatesDescription:Description of Work:Provide development support to the government client to enable design, development, and implementation of web-based enterprise software solutions following the Agile lifecycle.Participate on enterprise projects that require migration strategies using web-based technologies and relational databases across multiple platforms.Participate in the full life cycle of an agile project, design and develop user interfaces/applications, and conduct testing.Understands the business problem statement, user scenarios, and technical constraints.Plan for and conduct implementation activities.Participate in planning, retrospectives, demos and daily stand-ups.Continuously develops knowledge and skills on pertinent systems.Perform thorough unit and functional testing of the code to ensure high quality bug free code.Provide weekly and monthly status to the management.Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface with the customer on a daily basis.Become knowledgeable on the Disability process, ensure understanding of the systems and application processes to be able to execute that role in an effective manner.Basic Qualifications:Minimum knowledge, skills, abilities needed.Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of relevant work experience; Master's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience; or a minimum of 11 years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.Minimum of 3 years of experience working on BI development projects using tools such as WebFOCUS 8 or above.Minimum 3 years of design and development experience working on WebFOCUS 8. x (including InfoAssist+). master file/metadata development, managed reporting, ad hoc reports, dashboards, and portal development.Minimum 3 years of experience working with Relational Databases and SQL.Minimum 2 years of experience with Javascript, Report Caster, HTML, and CSS.Minimum 2 years of experience with extracting data from flat files, DB2, Greenplum and PostgreSQL databases.Minimum 1 year experience coding and testing 508 standards.Minimum of 1 year of experience as a self-starter who can work with a large and diverse team of business, management and IT individuals. Must have multitasking ability with excellent organization, analytical, planning and scheduling skills.Must be US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green card holder)Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Public Trust clearancePreferred Qualifications:Candidates with these skills will be given preferential consideration.Experience with App Studio 8.x.Knowledge of both client/server and mainframe platforms.Knowledge of Web Services and testing tools such as SoapUI.Knowledge of Object Oriented Programming concepts and languages such as Java.Knowledge of Modern Development Tools and CI/CD pipeline including AWS, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence, Maven, etc.Ability to quickly understand government specific architectures, existing and proposed, and provide solutions for technical problems.Self-starter, highly motivated individual, and a team player with the ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment.Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences, as well as interface with the customer on a daily basis.Prior SSA or Federal government experience.
