MHC Recreation Aide

MHC Rec Aide Salary: $12/hr - $15/hr Pay depends on qualifications and experience Closing Date: Until Position is filled Classification: Part Time The Valdosta-Lowndes County Parks and Recreation Authority is accepting applications for MHC Rec Aide, who will assist the Mildred Hunter Center Coordinator in the maintenance and daily functions of the Mildred Hunter Community Center at the front desk and its related programs and events. Events and programs include basketball and youth football, the Marching Pride Drill Team, MHC’s Dancing Dolls, and several teen mentoring groups. Location: 509 South Fry St., Valdosta, GA 31601 Hours of operation: MHC Rec Aides work both traditional and untraditional hours including weekends and nights. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Applicant must be 16 years of age or older. Strong typing skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation. Successful applicant will display a positive attitude and professional manner. If offered the position applicant must satisfactorily complete all post offer background checks, a motor vehicle report and a drug test.
