Logistics Management Trainee

Location: North Bergen, NJ / Chicago, ILEmployment Type: Full-timeWork Model: On-siteLevel: Entry LevelSalary Range: TBDAbout the RoleWe are seeking motivated Logistics Management Trainees to join our U.S. warehouse and logistics operations team. This role is designed for recent graduates or early-career candidates who are interested in building a long-term career in cross-border e-commerce, warehouse operations, supply chain, and logistics management.The trainee will rotate through key warehouse and logistics functions, including daily warehouse operations, carrier coordination, data reporting, WMS/ERP system support, equipment operation, purchasing support, and new warehouse launch projects. This role provides hands-on training and full exposure to the end-to-end warehouse operation process.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse OperationsSupport daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory counting. Learn and follow warehouse SOPs to ensure operational accuracy, efficiency, and safety. Assist with inventory monitoring, cycle counts, and discrepancy tracking. Identify process bottlenecks and support operational improvement projects. Logistics & Carrier CoordinationAssist with daily communication with FedEx, UPS, USPS, 3PL partners, and other logistics providers. Track outbound shipments and support issue resolution for delays, lost packages, address issues, and delivery exceptions. Help organize carrier performance data and support carrier evaluation and optimization. Data & ReportingCollect and analyze warehouse operation data, including shipping volume, fulfillment speed, order accuracy, inventory turnover, and productivity. Prepare regular operation reports using Excel or BI tools. Support root-cause analysis and provide improvement suggestions to reduce cost and improve efficiency. System & Equipment SupportSupport the daily use of WMS, ERP, scanners, label machines, conveyors, forklifts, and other warehouse tools. Assist with system testing, user feedback collection, and issue tracking. Support basic equipment maintenance tracking and coordinate with vendors when needed. Purchasing & New Warehouse SupportAssist in managing warehouse supplies, including packaging materials, labels, and other consumables. Support vendor quotation, purchasing records, and cost control. Participate in new warehouse setup projects, including layout planning, SOP preparation, team training, and launch support. QualificationsCurrent undergraduate/graduate student or recent graduate from a U.S. university. Majors in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Operations Management, or related fields are preferred. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.; CPT/OPT candidates are welcome. Strong learning ability, ownership, and willingness to work in a hands-on warehouse environment. Proficient in Excel; SQL, Tableau, Power BI, WMS, or ERP experience is a plus. Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Fluent English communication skills required. Mandarin Chinese is a plus, especially for communication with China-based teams. Prior internship or work experience in warehouse, logistics, retail, e-commerce, or supply chain is preferred. Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and able to perform certain physical tasks. Forklift certification is a plus, or willingness to receive training after joining.
