Inside Sales Specialist

Position Summary: The Inside Sales Specialist supports the Automation Solutions business by managing sales opportunities, customer inquiries, and lead development through virtual channels. This role partners closely with Outside Sales, Application Engineering, and internal teams to deliver quotations, manage opportunities in CRM, and drive revenue growth while improving customer satisfaction.This position plays a critical role in pipeline development, opportunity execution, and customer engagement, serving as a primary point of contact for assigned customers, partners, and incoming leads.Major Responsibilities:Sales, Prospecting & Lead ManagementConduct outbound cold calling and proactive outreach to identify new sales opportunities and develop pipelineManage incoming and outbound sales leads and assign or advance opportunities based on account ownershipQualify inbound inquiries and outbound prospects and move opportunities through the sales funnelIdentify sales opportunities and support defined revenue and growth targets using a team‑based selling approachQuoting & Opportunity ExecutionIndependently manage and execute small, transactional quotes by learning, owning, and utilizing Regal Rexnord quoting applications and digital toolsEnter RFQs, manage opportunities, and deliver quotations using CRM and quoting systems (e.g., Salesforce and internal apps)Develop working knowledge of pricing structures, lead times, and standard configurations to efficiently support quote turnaroundEscalate complex or engineered‑to‑order opportunities to Application Engineering or Outside Sales as appropriateCustomer Engagement & Relationship BuildingServe as a primary virtual point of contact for assigned customers, channel partners, and end usersProactively assess, clarify, and validate customer needs to recommend appropriate automation solutionsBuild and maintain productive, professional relationships to increase customer satisfaction and repeat businessDrive adoption of Regal Rexnord programs, tools, and solutions among assigned accountsPipeline, Reporting & ForecastingMaintain accurate opportunity data, activity tracking, and forecasts within CRM systemsPrepare and maintain sales activity and KPI reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly cadence)Support sales planning and SIOP processes through timely opportunity updates and reportingCross‑Functional CollaborationWork collaboratively with Outside Sales, Application Engineering, Marketing, and Operations teamsSupport execution of BU playbooks and marketing initiatives to maximize new business opportunitiesShare customer feedback and market insights to improve solutions, processes, and customer experienceQualificationsAssociates degree in Industrial Technologies, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Business, or related field preferred0–2 years of experience in inside sales, industrial automation, technical sales, marketing, or manufacturing environmentsComfortable with outbound cold calling and proactive customer outreachDemonstrated willingness to engage in outbound prospecting and cold‑calling activities to generate new opportunitiesStrong mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn products, applications, and quoting toolsEffective written and verbal communication skills; comfortable delivering digital presentationsHighly Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and business applicationsAbility to learn, manage, and own transactional quoting processes using internal tools and applicationsAutoCAD experience a plus (ability to review, measure, and interpret facility layouts and customer concepts)BenefitsMedical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Drug CoverageSpending accounts (HSA, Health Care FSA and Dependent Care FSA)Paid Time Off and Holidays401k Retirement Plan with Matching Employer ContributionsLife and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) InsurancePaid LeavesTuition AssistanceAbout Regal RexnordRegal Rexnord is a publicly held global industrial manufacturer with 30,000 associates around the world who help create a better tomorrow by providing sustainable solutions that power, transmit and control motion.
