Our business strategy leverages world-class technologies, motivated and talented people, and high-quality products.Our Mission is to make people's lives better by:Delivering outstanding quality products and services to our customersProviding meaningful opportunity, job satisfaction, and job security for our peopleBeing positive contributors to our communities andProviding superior long-term investment returns to our stakeholdersOur strength is our peopleWe invite you to follow your dreams and explore a challenging and rewarding career at Martinrea.Job Summary: Assists engineering teams in ensuring products meet safety, regulatory, and company standards by analyzing data, inspecting parts, and supporting root cause investigations.Major Accountabilities:Quality Inspection & Testing: Perform in-process and final inspections, test raw materials, and verify torque/assembly specs.Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on quality metrics (scrap, rework, defects) to identify trends.Documentation Support: Revise standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and update documentation systems.Problem Solving & Improvement: Participate in CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to solve quality issues.Cross-functional Collaboration: Support production teams on the manufacturing floor and participate in project brainstorming sessionsQualification:Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical) or a related technical field.Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9000), Lean Six Sigma tools, or manufacturing processes.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.Strong analytical, communication, and hands-on problem-solving skillsHealth & Safety:Must work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations, Company and plant rules, policies and proceduresMust use or wear Personal Protective Equipment and certain clothing as required by the CompanyJob Type - Intern
