Title: Senior Voice / VoIP EngineerLocation: Philadelphia, PA, Mount Laurel, NJ, or Denver, CODuration: 12 MonthsPay Rate: $50/hr on W2 (only W2)Job DescriptionJob Location: Philadelphia, PA, Mount Laurel, NJ, or Denver (Englewood), CO.End Client: ComcastExperience required: 10 YearsEducation level: Bachelor’s degreeIMPORTANT: Skills: experience working within a Linux environment, understanding of SBC’s (Oracle SBC’s are what they use but open to any), some automation experience would be great, and exposure to API’s like SOAP or REST would be greatPosition Overview:Senior Voice / VoIP EngineerWe are seeking a senior-level Voice/VoIP Engineer with strong SIP fundamentals and the ability to independently design, troubleshoot, and support large-scale voice platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and support SIP-based voice and VoIP solutions, including call center and IVR use casesTroubleshoot SIP signaling, media flows, and complex voice issues across systemsTranslate business requirements into technical voice and integration designsOperate with a high degree of autonomy, owning technical decisions and outcomesCollaborate closely with engineering teams during design, escalation, and certification effortsRequired QualificationsStrong hands-on expertise with SIP protocols, signaling, and media troubleshootingSolid Linux proficiency, including CLI-based system support and diagnosticsExperience with VoIP platforms such as PBX systems, SIP trunking, or service provider voice environmentsSystems-level problem-solving skills across multiple components and technologiesBasic scripting experience to support automation and operational efficiencyPreferred ExperienceSBC’s: Ribbon, Audiocodes. (e.g., Oracle/Acme Packet or comparable platforms)BroadWorks or similar carrier-grade voice platformsExposure to Cisco voice technologiesExperience supporting large-scale, multi-region or multi-country voice deployments
