About the job Remote | Frontend Code Evaluation Engineer - Up to $90/hourWe are sharing a specialised remote consulting opportunity for experienced frontend engineers with strong coding agent experience, modern web application expertise, and the ability to evaluate complex frontend implementations across realistic engineering scenarios. This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on frontend code evaluation, coding-agent-assisted engineering workflows, technical assessment, UI architecture review, accessibility review, performance evaluation, and real-world frontend engineering analysis. Selected professionals may use tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, or comparable coding agents to complete, review, and evaluate frontend engineering tasks involving React, TypeScript, JavaScript, modern web applications, and large-scale user interfaces.Key ResponsibilitiesProfessionals in this role may contribute to:Frontend Code EvaluationUse modern coding agents to complete and evaluate complex frontend engineering tasksReview generated frontend code for correctness, quality, maintainability, accessibility, performance, and production-readinessIdentify bugs, edge cases, UI inconsistencies, rendering issues, and failure modes in technical outputsApply professional frontend engineering judgment to realistic software engineering scenariosUI Architecture & Web Application ReviewEvaluate frontend implementations involving React, TypeScript, JavaScript, component architecture, state management, routing, and user interface workflowsReview UI architecture decisions for scalability, maintainability, responsiveness, accessibility, and long-term product fitAssess frontend performance optimisations, rendering behaviour, browser compatibility, and user experience considerationsProvide structured feedback on frontend design decisions and implementation quality Coding Agent Output AssessmentCompare outputs from multiple coding agents and assess their strengths, weaknesses, accuracy, and practical usefulnessIdentify where generated solutions succeed, where they fail, and where additional frontend engineering judgment is requiredEvaluate whether generated frontend code reflects real-world web application standardsDocument technical review findings clearly for project teams and quality evaluation workflows Technical Documentation & FeedbackProduce clear, structured evaluations of frontend engineering tasks and generated outputsExplain reasoning around code quality, UI architecture, accessibility, performance, maintainability, and architectural trade-offsSupport technical assessment workflows by documenting accepted work, improvement areas, and practical engineering conclusionsHelp ensure outputs reflect production-scale frontend engineering expectations Ideal Profile Strong candidates may have:2+ years of professional frontend engineering experienceHands-on experience building modern web applications using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar frontend technologiesRegular use of AI coding agents such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, or comparable toolsAbility to evaluate generated frontend implementations, UI architecture, accessibility, and performance optimisationsExperience working on large-scale consumer or enterprise applications is strongly preferredStrong understanding
