Details Night shift position in a Pediatric ICU (PICU) at a hospital setting Full-time, 36 hours per week on 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week CVICU and NICU experience is preferred for this role 13-week contract Requirements Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or eNLC compact license) required Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required — no other issuing bodies accepted Minimum 1 year of RN experience required Level 1 facility experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted Full date of birth (DOB) required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include assuming care for an assigned group of patients, documenting responses to nursing interventions and medical treatments, administering medications, initiating and monitoring IV infusions and blood products, and assisting physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Communicates care plans with patients and families, including discharge education, and delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate Previous travelers who have completed a contract at this facility must have a 6-month separation before being eligible to return; extensions are permitted one time only, for a total of 26 weeks Compliance deadlines are strictly enforced — candidates must complete all onboarding requirements (drug screens, background checks, and medical requirements) promptly after accepting an offer American Traveler Job ID P-689258.
