Details Position is in a Pediatric ICU (PICU) at a hospital setting Night shift schedule 36 hours per week, working three 12-hour shifts Full-time, 13-week contract CVICU and NICU experience is preferred Requirements Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or Compact/eNLC) currently in hand Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required Level 1 facility experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors Basic computer skills required Additional Information Responsibilities include assuming care for an assigned group of pediatric patients, documenting responses to nursing interventions, administering medications, and monitoring physiological data Initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products Assists physicians during examinations, minor diagnostic procedures, and treatments Communicates care plans with patients and families throughout the hospital stay and at discharge Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered Previously employed travelers must have a 6-month separation period before being eligible to apply for another contract at this facility Compliance with all onboarding requirements (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) is expected to begin immediately upon acceptance of an offer American Traveler Job ID P-689251.
