Warehouse CoordinatorLocation: Savannah, GA Contract: 2 Years Client: Georgia PowerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Warehouse Technician to support warehouse operations, material handling, and inventory activities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with forklift operations, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in both team and independent environments.This role requires attention to safety, communication, and organization in a fast-paced utility warehouse setting.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely load and unload warehouse materials utilizing a forklift.Assist Senior Storekeepers with receiving and putting away materials.Maintain warehouse and yard housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe, and organized work area.Support inventory control and material tracking as needed.Follow all safety procedures, reporting any hazards or incidents promptly.Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient daily operations.Skill Sets & ExpertiseProven forklift experience (operation, loading/unloading).Strong communication and teamwork skills.Ability to work independently or collaboratively as needed.Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities.Self-starter with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.Required Qualifications13 years of related warehouse or material handling experience.High School Diploma or equivalent.Valid Forklift Certification (required).
