Role Overview:As an Inside Sales Professional, you are the face of our organization and a key educator for our community. You will take ownership of the customer experience, ensuring every requirement is met with technical knowledge and professionalism. This role is a high-impact position within our Sales and Marketing team, offering a clear path for quick career progression for a well-rounded, motivated individual. This is a business to business, industrial, technical, component level sales position with an even split of industrial distribution and OEM accounts making up the business revenue.Core Objectives:Revenue Growth: Partner with the Sales and Marketing team to hit monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets with particular emphasis on NBO (New Business Opportunities).Customer Advocacy: Act as the primary internal liaison, translating customer needs into actionable instructions for our production and engineering teams.Service Excellence: Guarantee total customer satisfaction by providing expert guidance on products and capabilities.Operational Success: Maintain the high productivity and quality standards necessary to ensure long-term company growth and job security.Responsibilities & Duties:Customer Experience & Sales SupportAccount Management: Oversee key accounts, managing the full lifecycle of the customer relationship.Order Management: Act as a backup to Customer Serivce to process customer orders and manage online portals with high attention to detail and efficiency.Problem Resolution: Act as the first point of contact for customer concerns, resolving issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing immediately.Communication: Handle phone and email inquiries with tact, sensitivity, and technical expertise.Strategic Support: Assist in executing marketing strategies and sales plans to expand our market footprint.Internal Collaboration & AdministrationCross-Functional Teamwork: Coordinate regularly with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Accounting to ensure seamless order fulfillment.Process Management: Utilize company pricing systems and maintain accurate documentation, records, and sales reports.Workflow Optimization: Organize personal and departmental daily tasks to consistently meet strict customer deadlines.Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA requirements, company work rules, and housekeeping standards.QualificationsProfessionalism: Proven ability to communicate effectively and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.Adaptability: A "team-player" mindset with the ability to support other departments as needed.Ambition: A desire to quickly integrate into the organization and advance into higher-level responsibilities.Company DescriptionMechanical Products (MP) is a privately held manufacturer located in the Lombard, IL.
