Engage students and make a direct impact on communication skills by providing speech and language services to a diverse middle school caseload for the remainder of the academic year. This full-time contract role near Odessa, DE, begins around March 30, 2026 and runs through June 16, 2026, with an option to extend into the summer session (July 7 through August 6). You'll enjoy a balanced schedule-just three days per week at 4-5 hours per day-allowing you to focus your expertise and maintain flexibility.Qualifications:Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication DisordersState licensure as an SLP, or eligibility to obtain prior to startCCC-SLP or Clinical Fellowship (CFY) applicants welcomePediatric, school-based, or healthcare SLP experience highly valuedAbility to collaborate with educational staff, students, and familiesResponsibilities:Provide direct speech and language therapy to middle school students in group and/or individual settingsConduct thorough evaluations and develop treatment plans tailored to each student's needsManage documentation, progress reports, and update IEPs according to school and state requirementsConsult and communicate regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support academic and social growthParticipate in IEP meetings and school-based team initiativesMitigate barriers to learning through evidence-based interventionsWhen you join this opportunity, you can look forward to weekly W2 pay, a variety of health and life insurance options, reimbursement for CEUs, a 401(k) with company match, and guaranteed hours so you can plan with confidence.
