FLSA Employment Status: Nonexempt/HourlyJOB SUMMARYThe Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) performs various patient care activities in the pre-hospital and emergency setting, in accordance with all rules and regulations set forth by the State of Tennessee Emergency Medical Services Commission. Provides emergency first aid to persons for whom an ambulance is summoned and continues such care en route to the medical facility.Reporting Structure: Reports to the Director of EMS or designeeMINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSEducationHigh School Diploma or GED required.Must have completed EMT training as required by State of Tennessee.Work ExperienceMust have one (1) year successful work experience as an EMT.License/CertificationAmbulance operationsMaintain unencumbered and safe driving record in the State of Tennessee.Current in Vanessa K.
