Project Manager

The Project Manager plays a crucial role in this mission, overseeing projects from design through closeout to ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all aspects of a project, including defining scope, managing budgets, scheduling deliveries, and supervising subcontractors. This role works directly with clients, manufacturers, and product reps to design projects that meet energy efficiency goals and address the specific needs of each space. Daily tasks include developing project plans, tracking progress with detailed documentation, performing risk management, and reporting status updates to leadership. The position also involves visiting job sites to conduct lighting and mechanical audits, clarify project requirements, and ensure installations conform to the design intent.Military veterans with backgrounds in engineering, construction management, logistics, or operations will find this role highly aligned with their skills. MOS codes such as 12B (Combat Engineer), 12H (Construction Engineering Supervisor), 12W (Carpentry & Masonry Specialist), and Navy Seabee ratings are a strong fit, along with other MOSs related to operations, electrical work, or technical project oversight. Veterans are experienced in planning and executing complex missions under strict timelines, coordinating multiple teams, and ensuring safety and compliance-skills that are essential for success as a Project Manager.This is a full-time position offering both office and field work. You'll collaborate closely with facility managers, subcontractors, and engineering teams, and travel to manufacturer sites and trade shows to evaluate new products and stay ahead of industry trends.
