Backhaul Coordinator

Sharp Transit, the in-house carrier for Aldi Foods, has an immediate opening for a Backhaul Coordinator at our corporate office in Salisbury, NC. This position will work in office Monday - Friday from 7am - 4pm. Some evening and/or weekend hours as needed to meet operational needs. Duties and Responsibilities: Scheduling backhaul appointments TONU requests Layover requests Customer and division support Other duties as assigned by supervisor Requirements Previous trucking dispatch and/our backhaul corrdination experience preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in MS Office incuding including MS Teams and Excel Must be detail oriented, able to multi-task, organized, and have good customer service sense Sharp Transit offers: Competitive Pay, Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits, 401(k) with Company Match, PTO. With six terminals from Michigan to South Florida, we provide Aldi with warehouse to store delivery services.
