Administrative AssistantRobins Kaplan is seeking an Administrative Assistant in our Minneapolis office. This position has opportunities for growth and advancement. The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to firm professionals in the fulfillment of their responsibilities with the law firm. The position requires a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion, initiative, flexibility, and dependability. This role is designated for a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in office per week to facilitate collaboration with key stakeholders and 1 remote day per week. Essential functions include handling numerous assignments and requests simultaneously, preparing memoranda, correspondence, and other documents, proofreading materials for accuracy and completeness, maintaining supervisors' calendars, processing expense requests, managing team travel reservations, tracking receipt of materials, coordinating meeting logistics, monitoring communications, gathering and distributing materials, coordinating with support departments, submitting membership fees, maintaining contact information, and providing assistance to colleagues. All other projects as assigned. Competencies include being a team player, having client service know-how, good judgment, organizational expertise, attention to detail, time management skills, flexibility, analytical thinking, and professionalism. Knowledge and skills include delivering outstanding client service, strong verbal and written communication skills, using initiative and independent judgment, prioritizing workloads, interpreting data accurately, exercising discretion, working well under pressure, and proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe. Education and experience: Associate's or Bachelor's degree required. Experience as an Administrative Assistant preferred. Prior legal industry experience desired. Physical demands include regular verbal and written communication, operating computer and office equipment, moving about the office, remaining stationary at a computer, repetitive movement, and occasional light lifting. In addition to the essential functions outlined above, the individual in this position will provide additional assistance and support as directed by his/her supervisor. This job description is subject to change at any time. The hourly pay rate for this position is $23.44 - $34.15 per hour, depending on experience. This is a non-exempt position eligible for overtime. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors permitted by law.
