Temporary Data Collection Assistant (Remote)

About the Role We're seeking individuals for a temporary remote opportunity supporting data collection initiatives. In this role, you'll complete simple smartphone-based recording tasks that help improve systems used in everyday technology. This temporary position is ideal for individuals looking for flexible, short-term work that can be completed from home. No previous experience is required. Responsibilities Complete guided video recording tasks using your smartphone. Follow written instructions carefully. Submit recordings that meet quality requirements. Complete work independently from home. What You'll Do Qualified participants will receive instructions to record a small number of short selfie-style videos in everyday indoor and outdoor settings using their own smartphone. The entire assignment generally takes less than 15 minutes to complete. Assignments are available for adults (18+) and, with parental consent and supervision, eligible children ages 5–17. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Must reside in an eligible U.S. state (excluding WA, NY, TX, CO, IL). Access to a smartphone with a working camera. Ability to follow written instructions in English. Reliable internet connection for submitting recordings. Compensation Compensation varies depending on the assignment and participant eligibility.
