This role partners cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement and support operational excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesEnvironmental ManagementEnsure compliance with all local, state, and federal environmental regulationsConduct audits and assessments; implement corrective actionsLead initiatives to reduce waste, conserve resources, and improve sustainabilityHealth & SafetyDevelop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and training programsConduct risk assessments, inspections, and hazard identificationInvestigate incidents and implement preventive measuresPromote a proactive, safety-first culture across the organizationRegulatory ComplianceMonitor and interpret EHS regulations (e.g., EPA, OSHA)Support inspections, audits, and permitting activitiesMaintain accurate compliance documentation and reportingTraining & EngagementDeliver EHS training and ensure employee awareness of responsibilitiesProvide guidance and support on EHS-related mattersEncourage employee participation in safety initiativesContinuous ImprovementTrack and analyze EHS performance metrics (KPIs)Identify risks and opportunities; implement corrective actionsDrive ongoing improvements in safety and environmental performanceQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field preferred5+ years of EHS experience, ideally in a manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and related regulationsProven ability to lead initiatives and influence across teamsStrong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skillsCertificationsCertified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar certification preferred
