SummaryYou will serve as a Student Trainee (Financial Management) at the GG-07 grade level receiving on-the-job training and performing basic and routine tasks supporting accounting, auditing, budgeting, or financial management functions.Duties Help You will apply basic financial management procedures, processes, and methods to assist higher graded specialists in preparing budget and estimates to support plans, programs, and activities.You will assist in reviewing and evaluating budget requests and reporting obligations and expenditures.You will assist in compiling financial data or information, maintain records, prepare data for automated financial systems and draft preliminary synopses of audits or financial reports.Requirements Help Conditions of employmentMust be a US Citizen.Must be determined suitable for federal employment.Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
