Assistant Controller – Quince & Co. Join us as an Assistant Controller for our San Francisco-based team. Base pay range: $110,000.00/yr – $130,000.00/yr Quince & Co. is seeking an Assistant Controller to oversee all accounting activities across the Quince & Co. family of restaurants, including Quince, Cotogna, Verjus, Tusk Events, and more. The role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. You’ll collaborate closely with our leadership team to deliver timely financial insights, strengthen internal controls, and help guide strategic business decisions. Key Responsibilities Manage and execute weekly and monthly accounting processes and reporting Oversee AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance Review financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards Prepare budgets, forecasts, and analytical reports for leadership Support process improvement initiatives and system enhancements What We’re Looking For 3+ years of accounting or finance experience – hospitality experience preferred Strong Excel and financial analysis skills; familiarity with R365, POS, and payroll systems Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and communication Proactive, team‑oriented mindset and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced setting Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Company Description Quince & Co, situated in San Francisco’s historic Jackson Square, is known for creating some of San Francisco’s most beloved restaurants including the three‑Michelin starred Quince, Cotogna, and Verjus.
