MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSCompletion of an electrical training program Two years technical or business degree or equivalent combinations of education and estimating experience Preferred QualificationsElectrical construction experience or construction management degreeEstimator/Project supervisor experienceFive years' experience as electrical estimator preferredKEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIESRequires the knowledge of electrical construction theory.Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.Demonstrate conceptual estimates and financial analytical skills.Excellent oral and written communication skillsJOB RESPONSIBILITIESProvide technical estimation of electrical projects from bid preparation through job close out documentation to the customer.Quantity takeoff entry into estimating softwareSolicitation and review vendor and subcontractor quotationsReview current material prices levelsReview and estimate addenda as requiredVisit site and/or attend site walk meetingReview big/construction scheduleInitial review of contract if included in bid documentsDraft and submit proposal documentsFollow post bid closeout proceduresAttend weekly estimating team meetingsPerform additional duties as assigned.COMPENSATION & BENEFITSBenefits include Medical/Dental/Vision/401K/LifeADDITIONAL INFORMATIONBackground check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position).All hiring decisions are based on merit.Disabled/Veterans candidates encouraged to apply At this time, ESI is not sponsoring nonimmigrants for work authorization.
