Mechanic Apprentice

Semi Trailer Repairs/lights, brakes/ body panels Responsible for inspection, repairs, and performing an operational pre- check before putting equipment into service Responsible for inventory control Must have open line of communication with Fleet Manager Responsible for completing daily activity plans, identify job hazards, developing and meeting schedules On-site repairs and maintenance at jobsite locations Qualifications: Ability to operate equipment for repair purposes Knowledge of tools and equipment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Must be able to follow all safety requirements Must be able to work easily and skillfully with hands; climb and work at heights, work in confined spaces Necessary Attributes: Must possess the ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles Team player and with strong interpersonal skills, dedicated and hardworking Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills Education: High School Diploma or GED Supervisory Responsibilities: None Other Duties: Duties, responsibilities, and activities may change, or new tasks may be assigned at any time or without notice. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
