X-Ray Technician
Thrive in a dual role as an X-Ray Technician and Medical Assistant in this full-time (Monday-Friday) position within our team of experienced clinical and non-clinical staff. You'll work directly with patients, performing X-rays and a wide variety of clinical tasks. While experience in occupational health is valuable, we're dedicated to training the right candidate. In this role, you'll report directly to the Office Manager and Physician owner, overseeing routine clinical and administrative duties. You'll be a key communicator, optimizing workflow efficiency through positive interactions with staff and patients. You'll also act as a patient liaison, ensuring their comfort and understanding physician instructions. As you gain experience, you'll specialize in specific medical assisting tasks through dedicated training, expanding your knowledge and skillset with every new challenge.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Escorting patients to exam rooms
Preparing, cleaning, and stocking exam rooms between patients
Pulling, documenting and accurately filing patient charts
Sterilization of instruments and equipment between patients
Weighing and measuring patients, as well as taking vital signs
Accurately conduct patient physicals (including drug screens, vaccines, audiograms, vision, EKG), processing paperwork, and reporting results to client companies in a timely fashion.
Preparing charts, cleaning, and stocking forms between patients
Must have reliable transportation to work as well as attend off-site training and company on-site services
Blood draws and screening
Blood borne Pathogens (follow up of labs for source and patient in timely manner)
Administering vaccinations and PPD plants
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/TRAINING REQUIRED
Certification from an accredited Radiology Technician training program.
Prior work experience in a patient/customer service setting is a plus
Excellent verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and ability to prioritize well
Data entry skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Flexibility and ability to work well within a team
Maintain positive attitude and provide excellent customer service
Ability to tolerate episodic high stress environment
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Able to properly lift 25 pounds or less frequently and 10-15 pounds overhead occasionally. The highest point of any lift –overhead; the lowest point of any lift –the floor. Able to perform motor skills such as grasping, finger manipulation, pinching, bending, reaching out, kneel, squat, twisting, turning, reaching up, wrist turning/torqueing for up to 8 hours per day. Able to stand and remain on feet for up to 8 hours per day. Continuous interaction with internal and external customers, and often juggling multiple priorities.
