Survey Technician II
The Survey Technician is responsible for performing basic levels of various land surveying computations and drawings including computer CADD operations. Tasks associated with this position include, but may not be limited to:
Perform CADD work associated with preparation of survey drawings.
Compute survey metes and bounds.
Prepare descriptions of properties.
Complete preliminary work to be used by field survey crews.
Manipulate raw field data obtained by field surveys and property searches.
Assist senior survey staff in the preparation of survey plans.
May be required to work out in the field from time to time.
Must be able to prepare construction stakeout cut sheets.
Requirements:
Proficient with Microstation and/or AutoCadd software.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Self-Motivated and detail oriented
Must possess an understanding of drafting concepts, CADD fundamentals, and some survey design capabilities.
Ability to work in a team environment
High school diploma or equivalent required.
2-4 years’ experience as a Survey Technician.
Must be willing to work in the field as needed.
