Data Governance Lead

Data Governance Lead Irving, Texas, United States (On-site) * 10 + years’ experience in Data Governance, data catalog, and data stewardship * Hands-on experience with programing languages such as SQL, HTML, Java, Python and others is plus * Experience leveraging the MS Purview Data Governance portal for data management and enabling various cross domain use cases * Deep understanding of data governance capabilities including data catalog, data dictionary, business lineage, technical lineage and stewardship workflows * Responsible for integrating with new data sources for metadata acquisition. * Work closely with project teams to help with delivering catalog use cases which include design, configuration and deployment. * Validate lineage diagrams and modify/change as required. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. * Comfortable working independently and with other teams/vendors to resolve issues. * Demonstrates familiarity with Purview best practices, infrastructure & networking setup.· * Retail/CPG domain knowledge is plus.
