Join us in creating a cleaner tomorrow, today.Summary: The Documentation and Training Manager is responsible for overseeing the creation, maintenance, and dissemination of comprehensive documentation and training materials for Powin’s Projects division. This role ensures that employees, third-party Authorized Service Providers (ASPs) and Powin’s customers are well-informed and adequately trained to perform in their roles effectively. This manager will collaborate with various departments to develop and implement training programs that align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.Job Details: Lead, mentor and develop a high performing team of professionals involved in the design and execution of internal and external training and onboarding programs and documentation for Powin’s Projects divisionConduct regular 1:1 meetings with direct reports, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development opportunitiesLead documentation and training strategy development and program design across regional and global markets, including third-party field training programs, internal training and onboarding programs, and customer training programsDevelop, manage, and maintain all projects organizational documentation, including policies, procedures, manuals, and guidelinesEnsure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to relevant stakeholdersCollaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentsDesign, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs and materialsConduct training needs assessments to identify skills or knowledge gaps and address them through targeted training solutionsUtilize various training methods, including e-learning, workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessionsSchedule and deliver training sessions to employees, including field service and customers, ensuring engagement and effective learningEvaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedbackContinuously improve training programs based on evaluation results and organizational needsEnsure all training programs comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirementsMaintain training records and documentation to demonstrate compliance and support auditsCommunicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to promote training initiatives and gather feedbackPartner with the corporate Learning & Development team to align resourcesStay current with industry trends and emerging practices, integrating new tools and methodologies to continuously improvePerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Learning and Development, Education, or related field or equivalent work experience5+ years’ experience in training and documentation management3+ years’ experience in a leadership role, with demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teamsDemonstrated experience successfully delivering training using multiple methods (virtual, online/on-demand, in-person)Proven experience in designing, delivering, and evaluating training programsExperience working in high matrixed organizations and working cross-functionally (global preferred)Strong organizational and project management skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office skills requiredStrong communication skills (written, verbal, presenting and listening) and effective problem-solving skillsAbility to align communications with the end user in focus; ability to deliver structured and simple messagesHigh attention to detail and highly organized; ability to multi-task several projects at onceStrong interpersonal skills with the proven ability to influence senior level management and cross-functional stakeholdersAbility to work cross-functionally and collaborativelyThis position is flexible with onsite (PDX/Tualatin), hybrid and/or remoteAbility to travel as needed for businessPowin is not accepting resumes from unsolicited headhunters or agencies at this time.EEO STATEMENT: The Company is an equal opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local fair employment practices and laws.  The Company is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and job applicants without unlawful regard to race, color, age, gender, gender identification or expression, sexual orientation, familial status, religion or creed, national origin, ancestry, medical condition, marital status, protected veteran status, disability (mental or physical), or any other legally protected status under federal, state, or local law. E-Verify: Powin participates in E-Verify and candidates will need to pass successfully upon completion of hire date.
