Pharmacy TechnicianHiring 100% remote pharmacy technicians!! As a pharmacy tech, you will be involved in reviewing prior authorizations for determination for a department that is part of a large healthcare insurance company. You will approve or deny authorizations and send some to pharmacist for final review. You will handle all health plans and types of medications.This role is fully computer-based with little to no phone work. Responsibilities include:process prescription exceptions including resolving claim rejects and member and physician outreachenter member demographics and prescription information into the data processing systemresearch and resolve rejected insurance billing issues and/or escalated member issuesescalate questions regarding prescriptions to pharmacist for interpretation or provide direction on processingassist with inbound and/or outbound patient or physician callsMust Have:2+ years of Pharmacy Technician experienceNational CPHT Certification OR Arizona State LicensePrior Authorization/Customer Service/Computer skillsAbility to work remote and independentlyLogistics InformationThis is a contract to hire position is 100% remoteShift: Monday to Friday 8 AM to 8 PM (8 hour shift)The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.This is a contract to hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
