Any questions, feel free to reach out to me via email: beth@xtllogistics.net. Overview: We are seeking a team of reliable and skilled Truck Drivers to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, the successful candidates will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to bases across the region. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial driving, route planning, and load management, as well as experience with various types of trailers, including refrigerated, dump, and roll-off trucks. The ideal candidate will possess a commercial driver's license, a clean driving record, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: - Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles, including flatbed, refrigerated, and dump trucks, and perform routine maintenance checks. - Plan and execute efficient routes to meet delivery deadlines and manage load and unload operations. - (Rarely) Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage or loss. - Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations. - Utilize a forklift to handle and move goods as needed. - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any issues or concerns. - Collaborate with dispatchers to receive and respond to delivery requests and updates. - Ensure compliance with all relevant federal and state regulations, including commercial driving regulations. Skills: - Hazmat & TWIC, DOD clearance (which we will help you get). - Commercial driving experience and a valid CDL class A. - Knowledge of load and unload procedures for various types of trailers, including refrigerated, dump, and roll-off trucks. - Proficiency with route driving and navigation. - Experience as a delivery driver, including managing routes and meeting delivery deadlines. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
